Day 1: Arusha-Tarangire
Meet and greet service followed by a short safari briefing.We shall depart from Arusha town after breakfast. Drive across the Maasai country side to Tarangire National Park. We shall have an en route wildlife viewing to our lodge/luxury camp for check in and lunch. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. Afternoon game drive in search of elephants and other plain game.If time allows we shall explore Tarangire river for more wildlife viewing. Dinner & overnight in a lodge or luxury tented camp
Day 2: Tarangire-Lake Manyara
Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast,check out & drive to Lake Manyara National park arriving in time for lunch .This alkaline or soda lake is inhabited by migratory flamingos and other pelicans .Of interest in this park are the tree climbing lions .Members of the big five family also exists here.Our game drive is scheduled in the afternoon.We shall visit the Hippo pool located at one end of the lake during this game drive.Dinner and overnight will be in a lodge/luxury tented camp
Day 3:Lake Manyara-Serengeti
Breakfast at your lodge.
Thereafter, drive westwards down the Malanja depression. You will make a short stop at the Oldupai
Gorge where an informative lecture on our ancestors will be given. A tour to a nearby small museum is worth a visit.
Immediately after, proceed to Serengeti with picnic lunches served en-route. Thereafter, proceed with
an afternoon game in the Serengeti.
Dinner and overnight at Lodge.
Day 4: Serengeti
Spend the whole day with morning and evening game drives in this awe inspiring plains. Also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing.The spectacle of predator versus prey dominates this Tanzania’s greatest park.It is here where the golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. All meals and overnight at a Serengeti lodge/Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 5: Serengeti-Ngorongoro
After an early morning breakfast, Check out & leave for another game drive en route to exit. Picnic lunch .The journey to Ngorongoro will take the entire afternoon .Arrive in our lodge / Luxury tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Ngorongoro
After breakfast, descend to the Crater floor with picnic lunch. Ngorongoro conservation area has been named world heritage site & the 8th wonder of the modern world . We shall descend to the crater floor which is truly awe-inspiring. Embark on a full day game viewing extravaganza . In this day we shall have unlimited wildlife viewing .Later drive back to our lodge / Tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 7:Ngorongoro-Arusha.
After breakfast, leave Ngorongoro and drive to Arusha.
